About KINGDA
KINGDA is a young independent publishing platform focused on artificial intelligence, politics, institutions, and the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent machines.
KINGDA is concerned not only with AI as a technology, but with AI as a political, social, and institutional force. As artificial intelligence becomes more capable, it will increasingly shape how decisions are made, how power is exercised, how knowledge is produced, and how people understand their place in society.
KINGDA examines these changes through the lenses of political science, technology, history, and public life. It is especially interested in a central question: under what conditions can humans and artificial intelligence coexist productively without diminishing human agency, responsibility, or dignity?
KINGDA currently publishes independent articles. Alongside its essays, KINGDA publishes Kingda Film, a space for visual work that brings archival material into dialogue with contemporary questions. Its exhibitions distinguish historical sources from AI-generated responses and document the provenance of each. Kingda Review, a planned quarterly publication, remains in preparation.
KINGDA was founded and is edited by Jingda Xu, whose work spans political thought, artificial intelligence, and institutional research, as well as the design of systems intended to help people understand complex ideas and problems.
